Community and Voluntary Sector Collaboration

Get Nottinghamshire Connected are offering grants of up to £5000 to local Community and Voluntary Sector Organisations and groups across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire that are keen to embed digital skills support into the great work they’re already doing.

This funding may be for you, if your organisation can;

  • Help people to understand the relevance of digital to them
  • Help people to understand the types of things they can do online
  • Help people to improve their digital confidence
  • Improve awareness of and support to access to health and care services
  • Find opportunities in conversations to introduce users to relevant health information

The Approach

We understand that the best people to help those who are digitally excluded are those who are embedded within local communities and already supporting people in other aspects of their daily lives. People need trusted, familiar faces who offer the right support at the right time.

Our localised collaboration approach focuses on building relationships across health and care providers and third sector organisations. Through partnership working with organisations and communities we hope to increase the provision of digital access, skills, and support available locally.

Organisations are asked to trial and test delivery models for a minimum of 6 months. The support models you put in place can be unique and responsive to your local residents needs, wants and interests.

How to apply
