Workforce Digital Skills Development

Through Connected Nottinghamshire’s Digital and Social Inclusion project, all Health and Care staff across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire has the opportunity to gain qualifications in digital skills and IT.

Digital courses are not just about learning and developing technological skills, they also allow you to gain knowledge, values, attitudes and understand regulations and ethics about ICT to allow everyone to get the most out of technology.

We’re thrilled to offer several FREE training courses for staff in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, take a look at our packages below;

Our ECDL Extra Course builds on a learner's basic knowledge and experience to improve their understanding of computer applications including improving productivity using IT, word processing, spread sheets and presentation software. Individuals can learn at your own pace with this fully online based flexible course, that is a highly recognised IT qualification in many workplaces.

Are you looking to study a customer service online course? This qualification will provide you with the underpinning knowledge required to work in a range of different environments in a customer service role. You will develop essential knowledge of how to carry out customer service related tasks such as how to manage information.

Our Digital Champion Training that can be tailored to your own teams and departments. If you or your team are passionate about helping others and want to support patients/ citizens benefit from digital information and services our Digital Champion Training course is for you. Individuals will receive a Level 2 qualification in Principles of Internet Safety and take part in a virtual session to learn new digital skills.
