Tablet Lending Scheme

One of the biggest barriers to people accessing the internet and equipment is affordability, being able to afford the tools to access online digital services can be a real challenge for those who are unemployed, on a low income or are retired.

To address this, Get Nottinghamshire Connected intends to introduce a tablet lending scheme to organisations and groups across the community.

The scheme will allow local community groups and partner organisations to borrow iPads so they can discover new ways of working to help people understand the positive changes that can be made to their lives through being online.

Future Focus

The scheme will allow local community groups and partner organisations to borrow iPads so they can discover new ways of working to help people understand the positive changes that can be made to their lives through being online.

Here’s what you need to know

The iPads will be free to borrow and have 4G enabled so you can use the internet without needing access to Wi-Fi. However we would encourage you to connect to a network wherever possible.

We will work with you to agree the perfect loan period so your group can get the most from the devices.
